First time visiting us?

Walking into any type of meeting or gathering can feel a little intimidating the first time. You’re not sure where to go, what to do or who to talk to. You may want to remain anonymous and just “check everything out” from a distance or to introduce yourself, either way, you’re so welcome at Dublin Vineyard. To help you feel more comfortable as our guest at one of our Sunday services, here are a few questions answered:

  • While we all want all this COVID stuff to be behind us, people in our community have varying degrees of comfort when it comes to indoor gatherings. Some are ready to do away with all social distancing measures, while others are more cautious, and it’s not a matter of right or wrong but simply a personal preference.

We feel that the measures we are putting in place, are the best way to respect and honor everyone in our community - And- in that way, to fulfill the command of Romans 12 - that we honor one another, above ourselves,

So the measures we're going to take are:

    • We are no longer operating a pre-booking system for our Sunday services. Just join us @ 11 am on Sunday mornings.

    • We ask that if you have any symptoms of COVID that you do not attend the in-person service and instead join us online.

    • We will keep the doors open to ventilate the room - that means - the room will be very cold, so be sure to dress warm, scarves and gloves would be a good idea.

    • We will require masks to be worn by everyone over age 12 attending in person service - covering both nose and mouth.

    • Hand sanitizer will be provided to allow people to sanitize their hands when they arrive and as they leave.

What if I have another question?

If you have any further questions, please contact us. We’d be happy to answer any queries you might have.

  • When you arrive at the YMCA building, please be prompt and only arriving 10 minutes before service commences, where you will:

    • be greeted by our Welcome Team at the entrance.

    • you will be asked to put your mask on.

    • in the foyer you will be asked to use hand sanitiser.

    • you will be directed upstairs to the main hall, and you will be ushered to your seat set up in pods of 6.

The entire service will last no longer than one hour, as we know sitting in a mask can be uncomfortable.

  • When you enter the hall:

    If you need Space

    • For people who prefer some social distance around them we will have sheets of paper to put on the seats either side of you, to let people know not to sit there.

    • The Sheets will be available from one of the ushers in the hall just ask for them as they greet you

Comfort level Stickers To help other people know and respect your level of comfort, for social distancing and conversation with them, we will provide - Green, Yellow & Red Stickers for anyone who wants them

The color of the sticker would communicate to others what are comfortable with in terms of social interaction

Green : being you're really comfortable to be being in close proximity and conversation

Yellow : you would like a little distance and

Red: you would like a 2 meter distance and only a short conversation

Place the sticker on your coat where its visible for people to be able to respect your choice.

  • Thank you for agreeing to the following:

    • refrain from attending if you or anyone in your household/bubble is exhibiting potential signs of covid

    • wearing a face mask at all times whilst in the building the Dublin Vineyard venue

    • using hand sanitiser on entry and exit from the church building

    • respecting the choices that others have made regarding seating and comfort stickers

    • informing us immediately if you suspect you have covid after attending the service

  • The style of our service is informal, relaxed and contemporary. We currently offer two services where we can meet In-Person.

The Family service begins at 11am and finishes around 12pm, and is hosted by the Vineyard Kids Ministry

We are so excited to be able to host a Family service twice a month! On the 1st and the 3rd Sunday of every month, our NEW interactive Family Service is for parents and children of all ages.

The In-Person service begins at 11am and finishes around 12pm. We start our service with about 15 minutes of worship music led by our worship band. This is followed by a 25 minute sermon given by the lead pastor or a member of our leadership team. Our aim is that the sermon would help us apply the truth of the Bible to our lives. We want this to be meaningful, inspiring and relevant to our everyday lives.

After the sermon, we want to take a few minutes to respond to what we’ve heard which will include another worship song, stillness and then a closing prayer over the congregation. There will usually also be an opportunity to receive prayer for any personal needs including healing.

  • While we normally love to hang out together and enjoy each other’s company, under the current circumstances we ask that everyone move promptly out of the building after the service.

  • All Youth, Children and babies are welcome to attend the In-Person service with Parents. Things you should know before you come, to comply with Government Covid guidelines for churches meeting in-person:

You need to register your children and babies who will be attending when you are making your own booking for the service..

Children of all ages will need to be seated with parents in their pod throughout the service and supervised after the service.

Please bring your own materials to quietly occupy your child/babies during the service .

Please note there is no "in person" Children's Programming at our In-Person service at the moment , but remember Vineyard kids are hosting the earlier Family Service if you prefer to involve your kids this way.

It is our intention to run a full children's program when we are able to do so. We are constantly reviewing this and will let you know of any changes.

  • During our In-Person service under the current restrictions, we do not have a designated “family room” for parents, babies and toddlers. Parents will need to quietly occupy your child/babies during the service and settle little ones during the service if needed.
